Role-playing games (known also as RPGs) are based on more traditional board games like Dungeons & Dragons. In most of these games player can take a role of one or more adventurers who specialize in a specific skill (combat, magic, stealth, etc.). Many role-playing games force players to travel through the game world, usually populated with various monsters.
