The story revolves around Agent 47 (usually referred to as “47” or “Mr. 47”), a genetically engineered assassin, whose flawless record places him in high demand. The original game series has also expanded into a novelization, Hitman: Enemy Within, followed by two film adaptations (in 2007 and 2015), which are loosely based on the games’ storyline.
