Mac is not the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “gaming”. Yes, mobile games are extremely popular on iPhone and iPad but when it comes to big, triple-A titles, Mas seems to stay behind PC and home gaming consoles. Even though Apple devices were always cutting edge, they are still not associated with video games. You might not know this, but gaming on Mac computers is nothing new. In fact, the first Mac video games are pretty old and date back to the late 1970s. These games include titles such as Global War, Asteroids in Space, and Flight Simulator. The number of Mac titles never equaled (and probably never will) the number of PC or console games, but there were blockbusters and advanced titles as well. Myst (released in 1993), Sim City 2000 (1993), Wolfenstein 3D (1994), Command and Conquer (1996), and Diablo (1997) are just a few of them. And now? Look at titles like BioShock, DragonAge, and Guitar Hero. The Mac’s video game library may not be as extensive as PC’s or PlayStation’s but it certainly isn’t as bad as one might think. The iOS system is very fluid and efficient, and because of that gaming on Mac can be pretty entertaining.Choose a royal or noble house and guide your dynasty through the centuries! Be a pious king to bring the religious powers to your side, or strike out on your own, designing your own splinter religion and earning everlasting fame or eternal damnation. One of the most successful, most well-made horror series of all time. The franchise that basically gave birth to the zombie-apocalypse genre in video games. What are we talking about? The answer can be only one: Resident Evil! Resident Evil (also known as Biohazard in Japan), is a survival horror video game franchise created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara and owned by Capcom. The franchise revolves mostly around a series of survival horror video games but has also spawned numerous movies, comic books, novelizations, sound dramas, and even action figures. The series' plot focuses on multiple characters and their role in recurring outbreaks of zombies and other horrible monsters. These events are triggered by the release of the infamous T-virus (and other biological weapons) created by the fictional Umbrella Corporation. The first Resident Evil game was released in early 1996 as a survival horror, but the franchise has since grown to encompass also other video game genres. Today, it’s a fusion of action-adventure, TPP, and horror-inspired plotlines but also employs some level exploration and simple puzzle solving. The entire series has sold over 75 million units worldwide and is considered Capcom's biggest franchise to date. Resident Evil is probably the best horror game series of all time.
