TBS (Turn-Base Strategy) game is a subgenre of strategy video games where players take their turns when playing. This is completely different from real-time strategy (RTS) where all players play the same game simultaneously. Turn based strategy is ideal for gamers with low APM (Action-Per-Minute rate) and more casual approach towards gaming. The first TBS video games were actually converted from historic board games. After their huge success, video game companies created their own franchises based on original concepts. That’s how the best TBS games of all time were born. Multiplayer games typically require players to share the resources of a single game system or use networking technology to play together over a greater distance. A video game franchise commonly associated with multiplayer is Counter-Strike. Massively Multiplayer Online games (also called MMOs) are a variation of multiplayer games in which a very large number of players can interact with one another within a virtual world.
