Metal Gear is a series of Japanese video games, created by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami. The franchise successfully combines action-adventure genre with a stealth genre. The series’ first installment, Metal Gear, was released in 1987. In Metal Gear players take control over a special forces operative, named Solid Snake, who needs to find the titular “Metal Gear”, a bipedal walking tank.
